LE DEGAGNAZES
A preserved religious heritage
Near Glaudi, about 1km through the forest, a Grandmontain priory built in 1235, invites you to meet a heritage safeguarded and a cult dedicated to Our Lady of Compassion.
The place of the former source of the priory was rehabilitated by the volunteers of the parish to offer an open air place of worship and meditation in the woods.
Pottery: In Uzech-les-Oules, the pottery tradition dates from the fifteenth century. The potters crafts creates and sells productions ranging from dishes to unique pieces. Zadkine Museum: The village of Les Arques is a place to which the artist Zadkine was very attached. A museum is dedicated to him highlighting the deep relationship that the artist add with nature.
